To get started you need to need to have a reason.

Tip #1:

FIND YOUR WHY! The best part of exercising and bettering yourself is understanding on why you are doing it. I have a lot of people who come to me and tell me that they want to change because they don't love themselves. One thing I influence them and you to do is change that mindset into exercising because you do love yourself. But I can't find the why for you, I can only help you find your why.

Tip #2:

Take it slow and do your research.

There are a lot of fads in the exercise world, make sure you do your research first, or get a trainer (me) to do that research for you. Because not every exercise fad or diet hack is right for you. Everybody is different and not everything is a one size fits all in exercise, find the research and find something that is right and specific for you.

Tip #3:

Make it routine:

The hardest part of starting is changing your daily routine. You need to find a time in your schedule no matter how busy it is and MAKE it a part of your daily routine. Routine takes time, discipline, fighting negative thoughts and energy. This is probably the most important tip. Don't overdue it and don't stress about doing it because that will defeat the purpose of it. Make time for you and for you to feel good and that will make it less of a stressor and more of a stress reliever.
